You will drive system development, setup and configuration, coordinates, and documents necessary improvements for development, manages effective release management with IT and ensures both implementation and operations are aware of updated features. The role works closely with engagement & delivery project teams for the analysis, planning, roll-out, UAT and testing for new and existing clients.

Requirements

  • Equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in business management, IT or Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 5 years of Freight Forwarding experience and a thorough understanding of global transport logistics (air/ocean/ground).
  • Global Transportation and Freight Forwarding - at least 5 years
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications such as Visio, AS 400, etc.
  • Ability to present product or technical information.
  • Organizational and communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as primary, systems point-of-contact for internal/external customer, operations, Business Development.
  • Assists in analysis, definition, and then documents detailed requirement specifications for changes or new functionality
  • Assist with system maintenance and configurations
  • Serve as SME (Subject Matter Expert) for CEVA customer facing application(s).
  • Log systems problems in the CEVA Help Desk system for tracking and analytical purposes
  • Meet customer requirements; ensure productivity levels are reached in an effective and efficient manner and maintaining quality performance objectives.
  • Pro-actively & continuously seeks to improve the highest level of service from the application(s).
  • Actively collaborates with global SCL, FM, IT, BD, Engagement & Delivery and operations in order to innovate and differentiate
  • Maintain prioritized systems task list and coordinate with CEVA Corporate office to ensure task resolution occurs.
  • Effectively identify and escalate issues as appropriate.
