Job Summary The Pricing Analyst works with the marketing, sales and finance departments to assist with the development and implementation of pricing strategies for Papa John’s regular and limited time menus. These pricing strategies will be aligned to ensure profitable growth in the business , value perception and customer retention. The Analyst will use competitive intelligence, pricing trends, and regional considerations in making recommendations for regional marketing and business leaders. This role supports the goal to maximize revenue, optimize margins and ensure sustainable growth for Papa Johns .

Requirements

  • Advanced Excel skills, including the use of functions and the ability to present detailed information in a concise manner
  • Proficient SQL skills and experience with coding in R, Python preferred
  • Experience with financial modelling, statistical analysis , research skills and data analytic s desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance , Economics , Business, Data Science , Engineering or related field
  • Three ( 3 ) to five ( 5 ) years’ experience in pricing analysis , data analytics or financial modelling preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of pricing theory and practice helpful
  • Experience with Big Q uery or Tableau applications preferred
  • Working knowledge of market dynamics, pricing strategies and competitive analysis within QSR i ndustry helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Perform competitor analysis by product categor y along with internal cost & pric e trend analysis to facilitate pric ing recommendations that optimize revenue and margin
  • Provide support during price strategy planning and con duct pricing updates in the price administration tool to ensure alignment of prices across all corporate restaurant tiers.
  • Produce weekly and monthly corporate promo /deal report s , product and channel results summar ies
  • Support team with projects and ad hoc requests aimed at better understanding promotion measurement and optimization
  • Prepare Franchise e b usiness and p ricing analyses to assist in aligning Franchisee pricing strateg ies with unit profitability goals
  • Conduct test measurement and tracking with Menu and Marketing teams to identify viable options for LTO promotion s or menu additions
  • Run incrementality and breakeven models to assess the feasibility of potential promotions and limited time deals for CRM, Sales & Marketing teams.
  • Assist with promotion planning and optimization while partnering with sales forecasting to develop the annual operating plan.
  • Provide recommendations on changes in process es /automation to create greater efficiency within the team
  • Special projects as assigned
