About The Position

As a Senior Portfolio Manager within our technology organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic alignment, operational excellence, and agile product delivery across our portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of product management, finance, and technology, enabling empowered product teams to deliver customer-centric outcomes through lean governance, agile tooling, and continuous improvement practices. You will lead organizational routines that connect strategy to execution from CEO to engineer while ensuring transparency, traceability, and alignment across product portfolios. This includes assisting in portfolio roadmap management, optimizing resource allocation across capital and expense, and enabling data-driven decision-making through integrated tooling and metrics.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in portfolio management, product operations, or digital transformation within large-scale technology organizations.
  • Proven success in implementing agile product operating models (non-SAFe environments preferred).
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, product management, and lean governance practices.
  • Experience with financial management, budget tracking, and agile labor capitalization.
  • Proficiency in portfolio management tools and frameworks (e.g., Jira, Planview).
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational change leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Finance, or related field; certifications such as PfMP are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and evolve portfolio strategy to align with enterprise goals and product operating model principles.
  • Facilitate executive alignment through quarterly business reviews, strategic planning events, and product showcases.
  • Support product team formation, training, and continuous improvement in partnership with Agile Coaching and Enablement teams.
  • Influence and manage agile tooling strategy to enable transparency, traceability, and integration across portfolios.
  • Partner with Finance to support agile funding models, budget tracking, and capitalization traceability.
  • Track KPIs, OKRs, and flow metrics to evaluate portfolio health and recommend data-driven adjustments.
  • Identify and mitigate risks across the portfolio with proactive strategies and contingency planning.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Enable visibility into product roadmaps, metrics, and dependencies through integrated systems and dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance portfolio management practices and stay current with industry trends.
