Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for Planning all aspects of assigned product line. Manage customer orders from entry to shipment and remove barriers to ensure customer requirements are met. Responsible for MRP integrity, material, and production plan on-time delivery and revenue goals. Track production progress and status of customer orders through shipment. Provide support in creating documentation packages, monitoring shortages, maintaining floor stock, providing order status updates and coordinating the flow of work orders. · Coordination for assigned programs by maintaining status of orders, units, and material for all assigned programs. Responsible for all planned completion dates, bringing any schedule risks to program team. Ensure the smooth flow of product through production and subcontractors. Ensures accuracy of data for shipping, configuration, and OTD tracking. · Management of MRP & accurate material demand by reviewing new orders & working with procurement on long-lead items. · New Sales Order part number verification to ensure correct information is loaded into MRP. · Responsible for reviewing and addressing all MRP Action Messages for assigned product lines. · Liaison between engineering, procurement, and program management for material related activities. · Ensure production plan is aligned to support customer requirements and company revenue goals. · Maintain schedules for assigned programs and with thorough knowledge status of all sub-assemblies including shortages and expected completion dates. Coordinates with procurement for timely management of outside process and contract manufacturer orders. · Coordinates with Production, Test, and Program Management to build accurate schedules that achieve company commitments and goals. · Coordinate required activities including outside processing and subcontracting to ensure on-time performance to schedule. · Schedules kitting activities as part of program/order schedules to ensure commitment to on-time delivery, raising any risks to the team. Reviews component availability & coordinates with procurement to identify challenges and solutions. Reviews material & coordinates with Stockroom. · Regularly clean up aging work orders: reschedule or cancel per MRP. · Accurate and timely input of data that supports accurate costs and account numbers for components, including transactions required for creating shippers. · Work with Engineering and Program Management to review & verify accuracy of bills of material. Participate in program meetings and track design updates for new programs. · Responsible for correct update of components per ECNs on work order bills of material. · Coordinate and maintain accurate inventory and kitting for programs to facilitate ultimate inventory levels, waste reduction, and ability to satisfy forecasts while balancing output with sales. · Employ industry standard inventory management practices to Planning parameters in the Item Master. Maintain lead times and other key planning factors for manufactured items to optimize efficiency and reduce inventory exposure. Ensure MRP is driving the right actions through pegging and problem solving. · Oversee the lifecycle of materials from the moment they’re ordered to the moment they leave the factory as finished products, including shipment of material, subcontractors and shipment to the customer. The expected annual salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 a year.
