About The Position

The Sr Planner/Scheduler ensures stable production and material availability by developing accurate demand plans, maintaining SAP master data, and coordinating closely with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to prevent inventory disruptions. This role drives continuous process improvements and KPI performance within a fast paced manufacturing environment.   What you can look forward to as Sr Planner/Scheduler:  Set required parameters and update master data in SAP and other tools to ensure an uninterrupted information flow.  Coordinate changes of parts/goods numbers in a timely manner and together with other departments to minimize/eliminate excessive and obsolete inventory.  Assist in developing procedures and work instruction within the logistics department as needed.  Create demands and/or production schedules for internal or external suppliers out of internal or external customer demands.  Develop, monitor, analyze, and/or improve KPIs for assigned logistics processes.  Gain knowledge and collect information about the performance of the suppliers in your area by communicate with your contacts and by conducting supplier audits internally or externally.  Be the main contact for any issue regarding your parts/goods and suppliers/customers (e.g. inventory inaccuracies, data flow errors, packaging shortages, etc.).  Use SAP, EDI and other tools to keep track of stock, to steer physical material flow and to communicate demands internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in materials planning and/or customer planning in manufacturing environment.
  • Two (2) years’ experience in Automotive Industry.
  • Experience with an ERP system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Good written and oral communication (e.g. presentations).
  • Broad knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within supply chain planning.
  • Experience with demand forecasting and/or planning methods.
