Role reports to: Sr Director Global Portfolio Management Location: North America, United States, New Jersey, Summit Work Location: Hybrid What you will do This role leads multiple, highly complex innovation, renovation, and remediation projects from definition through launch, ensuring disciplined execution aligned with Kenvue’s operating model and project management standards. The individual will own the integrated project execution plan and partner with global, cross‑functional teams across R&D, Marketing, Packaging, Operations, Finance, and other functions to deliver business objectives. Success in this role requires strong business and technical judgment, proactive risk and issue management, and confidence advising governance forums with clear recommendations. The position also plays a key role in strengthening project execution capabilities through continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of business/work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years of proven success in management of large, highly complex, new product commercialization or renovation projects from ideation through to benefit realization.
  • Ability to influence and align cross‑functional teams at all levels of the organization without direct line authority
  • Clear, concise communicator with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills; able to distill complex issues, risks, and trade‑offs for senior leaders
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with working knowledge of financial principles and project evaluation methods to support sound recommendations
  • Inclusive leader who delivers results through collaboration, trust, and constructive challenge
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments and acting as a change agent to improve ways of working
  • Proven track record of delivering projects in fast‑paced environments, balancing scope, quality, timeline, and cost
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving continuous process improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree or MBA or other advanced degree
  • PMP certification and/or other industry and project management certification
  • Experience working in Consumer Goods industry.
  • Experience in a GMP or regulated environment (Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, OTC)
  • Experience in Process Excellence / 6 Sigma methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Concurrently lead multiple highly complex innovation, renovation, and remediation projects from definition through launch and execution, aligned with Kenvue’s Operating Model, innovation playbooks, and project management standards and tools.
  • Provide end‑to‑end project management for global, cross‑functional teams including R&D, Marketing, Packaging, Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Proactively identify and remove execution barriers, escalate risks and issues appropriately, and engage key decision‑makers when projects deviate from plan.
  • Own the integrated project execution plan, including scope, business case inputs, schedule, and launch timing; drive compliant, reliable delivery of project outcomes.
  • Plan and facilitate project activities including planning sessions, team meetings, documentation, milestone tracking, contingency and acceleration planning, decision facilitation, and risk management.
  • Apply strong business and technical judgment to assess risk, develop mitigation strategies, and elevate issues effectively.
  • Lead preparation and delivery of project updates, stage‑gate reviews, and recommendations at governance forums; act as an independent advisor providing clear Go/No‑Go recommendations and transparent communication of risks.
  • Develop deep understanding of assigned Segment, Brand, or Need State strategies, business goals, enabling technologies, and supply chain to support informed decision‑making from charter through launch.
  • Leverage project metrics and lessons learned to improve business results, processes, and tools; contribute to building project management capability through coaching, peer support, and participation in Communities of Practice.
  • Maintain accurate project and portfolio data to support tracking, reporting, and visibility across organizational levels.
