Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software and systems.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Able to select, lift, and carry objects (up to 20 – 25 lbs.) on a regular basis.
- Operate pallet jack, hand truck, or dolly.
- Safe operation of a box cutter to cut cases of product.
- Extensive walking and standing (8+ hours/day)
- Requires bending, twisting, reaching and grasping.
- Use of step ladder to reach product.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or shipping/receiving environment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Accurately sort and pack prescriptions for shipment, ensuring each order is complete and correct.
- Verify prescription information and quantities against patient orders, maintaining strict attention to detail.
- Prepare and label packages for shipment, adhering to company protocols and shipping regulations.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to resolve any discrepancies in orders.
- Ensure all packed prescriptions are handled with care and meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient packing area.
- Keep detailed records of all outgoing shipments and assist in tracking deliveries.
- Assist in managing inventory levels for packing materials and supplies.
- Perform quality checks on packed orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Adhere to health, safety, and confidentiality standards at all times.
