About The Position

HFI Management (“HFIM”) is currently seeking a Sr. Payroll Administrator based in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This role will Direct and oversee the internal and external marketing functions of assigned Companies. HFIM is the administrative and sales support division of the Brad Hall family of companies. HFIM supports companies in fuel and lube distribution, propane sales, retail fuel stations, oil field services farming, fuel transportation and other industries. The family of Companies does business in the Western United States and supplies to over 40 states. The Sr. Payroll Administrator will primarily be focused on: Payroll Processing Prepare and process payroll for all applicable entities in the family of companies. Assist in making recommendations on payroll issues, present solutions and suggestions to manager or HR. Manage employee concerns or questions with any payroll. Assist the employees while maintaining a good working relationship. Work with employees, managers, and HR department to resolve payroll issues in a timely manner. Monitor time and attendance reporting and assist field personnel as needed. Assist employees in HRIS questions related to payroll. Benefits Administration Assist benefit Administrator in reconciliations. Send documentation for all 401K payments along with supporting reports to accounting. Ensure calculations for employer 401K match are accurate according to contribution by employee. Assist employees in HRIS questions related to benefits. Tracking and Auditing Enroll, track, and conduct regular audits of 401k. Work with accounting to balance, trouble-shoot, and refine issues and processes. Assist in maintaining payroll, benefit, VOE’s, and personnel files in electronic filing system. Audit Payroll system at least once a quarter for tax set up, locations, ensure benefit information is accurate, etc. Assist in annual government audits. Tracking of all government programs such as child support, FMLA, garnishments, etc.

Requirements

  • Four or more years’ experience in Payroll or a related field with experience in multi-state payroll processing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and able to learn company systems and processes.
  • Adheres to the company’s values and ethical expectations.
  • Able to effectively multitask.
