Join us as a Sr. Payroll Administrator The Sr. Payroll Administrator supports the daily operations of multi‑state and multi‑country payroll systems by serving as the payroll systems subject matter expert, managing North America payroll projects and programs, leading process and system enhancements, identifying and resolving payroll issues, performing payroll and benefits reconciliations, and overseeing all payroll-related accruals to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred, with a minimum of five years of relevant payroll processing experience in a medium‑sized organization (500+ employees). In lieu of a degree, ten years of progressive, hands-on payroll processing experience is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective written and verbal communication.
  • A solid commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining payroll systems and interfaces (Ceridian Dayforce, Time & Attendance, HRDE) and ensuring accuracy across all connected platforms.
  • Providing timely resolutions to payroll issues and responding to inquiries across all organizational levels.
  • Serving as the functional expert for payroll accounting and compliance matters.
  • Reviewing system configurations, analyzing payroll processes, and coordinating enhancements or changes for optimization.
  • Ensuring strict confidentiality of payroll data and safeguarding information on a need‑to‑know basis.
  • Coordinating exception processing and accounting activities, including SAP-to-payroll reconciliations and variance corrections.
  • Supporting and managing annual payroll-related projects (e.g., workers’ compensation, 401(k), QMS, audits).
  • Leading or participating in special projects such as acquisitions, NE tax, and system implementations.
  • Ensuring compliance with Global Finance QMS and supporting environmental and employee satisfaction initiatives.
  • Continuously reviewing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and operational excellence.
