About The Position

The Sr Partner Benefits-International is responsible for assisting with the strategy, design, evaluation, implementation, and ongoing management of international benefits programs. This includes international retirement and pension arrangements, health and welfare programs, and country‑specific benefit initiatives. The role partners closely with HR, international in-region total reward partners, business leaders, internal domestic benefit teams, and external vendors to ensure benefits offerings are competitive, compliant, culturally aligned, and supportive of organizational goals. The Sr Partner Benefits-International also leads large cross‑functional projects, drives international benefits communication efforts, and delivers data‑driven insights to enhance program effectiveness and the employee experience across all international locations.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Professional benefits certifications (CEBS or regional equivalents) preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in benefits or HR, with exposure to international programs preferred. Minimum 4 years of project or implementation management experience. Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and operate independently in an international environment. Experience supporting or managing benefits in a large, complex international organization preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Experience developing and communicating benefits strategies or program recommendations.
  • Computer Skills: Strong data analysis experience with large datasets; advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint proficiency. Experience with SAP, Workday, or similar international HR systems preferred.
  • Supervisory: This position will not have direct reports.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and evolution of international benefits strategies aligned with organizational health, well‑being, and financial wellness priorities.
  • Serve as the primary international benefits partner for international business units.
  • Lead development, implementation, and change management for international benefits initiatives, including new market expansions and regional program updates in partnership international in-region total rewards partners.
  • Conduct advanced data analysis and modeling to evaluate program effectiveness, competitiveness, trends, and cost drivers across international regions.
  • Support international M&A activities, including due diligence, benefits integration planning, and alignment to international standards.
  • Lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams (internal and external) to meet project goals, timelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor international benefits program performance, maintain key metrics, and prepare reports and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Oversee relationships with international benefit vendors and consultants, ensuring quality, service delivery, and alignment with international expectations.
  • Coordinate with payroll, HRIS, People Operations, and local HR to ensure accurate and compliant administration of international retirement, pension, and health programs.
  • Develop and maintain international benefits communication strategies in partnership with regional teams and external vendors.
  • Manage international benefits marketing materials and country‑specific resources.
  • Participate in governance processes for pensions, retirement plans, and international health & welfare programs.
  • Provide guidance on policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements across international jurisdictions, partnering with legal and regional experts where necessary.
  • Support talent development, cross‑team training, and capability building within the benefits organization.
