About The Position

The Sr. National Accounts Manager at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is responsible for developing partnerships with current and potential accounts to promote the sale, pricing, supply, and service of SGWS products. This role focuses on managing national and regional accounts, ensuring effective collaboration with the management team, and driving brand development programs to enhance chain business. The position requires a strong background in the wine and spirits industry, particularly in chain area management, and the ability to handle national accounts independently while also collaborating with other managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry, preferably with national/regional HQ.
  • Strong and established relationships in the Western states of the US.
  • Advanced computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with fact-based selling using IRI/Nielsen Data.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of wine and spirits, including regions/varietals and product/food pairing techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for national and regional accounts management.
  • Conduct headquarter calls for business development and maintenance.
  • Develop, implement, and analyze brand development programs to drive chain business.
  • Manage distributor relationships related to national accounts off premise.
  • Forecast, budget, and manage pricing and programming.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Shaw Ross management team.
  • Provide updates to the VP of National Accounts and Shaw-Ross management team.
