About The Position

The position of Sales Manager in the Grocery Sales Division at Community Coffee Company involves assisting in the creation and execution of sales strategies aimed at developing national or major retail/grocery accounts. The primary goal is to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires conducting account headquarters sales calls and making formal presentations of company pricing, products, and promotions to the largest regional or national retail/grocery customers. The Sales Manager will analyze customer trends to identify development opportunities within current accounts and will be responsible for developing and executing Omni-Channel sales strategies to meet or exceed the company's sales goals. Additionally, the role includes coordinating and managing all National Retail Account resets and new store setups, participating in the Price Committee to develop appropriate pricing and promotional trade programs, and representing the company at trade association events and major trade shows. The Sales Manager will also assist in the development of the company's 5-year strategic plan, the annual operating plan, and all major promotions and new item introductions. This includes preparing periodic sales reports that show sales volume and trends, potential sales and expansion, and the results of potential sales and expansion projects. The role may also involve assisting with inventory planning, promotional programs, pricing, and marketing audits. Collaboration with the Marketing team is essential to develop marketing plans for promotions, new items, and limited-time offers. The position may require performing different or additional duties as assigned, making flexibility and adaptability key traits for success in this role.
