About The Position

The National Accounts Manager at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is responsible for developing partnerships with current and potential accounts to promote the sale, pricing, supply, and service of SGWS products. This role focuses on managing national and regional accounts, ensuring effective business development, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in the wine and spirits industry, preferably with national/regional HQ.
  • Strong understanding of wine and spirits, including regions, varietals, and product pairing techniques.
  • Advanced computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with fact-based selling using IRI/Nielsen Data.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Established relationships in the Western states of the US.

Responsibilities

  • Manage national and regional accounts for Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
  • Conduct headquarter calls for business development and maintenance.
  • Develop, implement, and analyze brand development programs to drive chain business.
  • Oversee distributor management related to national accounts off premise.
  • Handle forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and programming management.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Shaw Ross management team.
  • Provide updates to the VP of National Accounts and Shaw-Ross management team.
