Responsible for the day-to-day interaction, operations, and management of the largest clients within the Newline Group, including program managers, industry leading payment processors, ISO’s, Payment Facilitators, and key strategic partners on an elevated level. This position requires technical and interpersonal skills and the ability to form strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Provide proactive and consultative support and be an expert in understanding partner use cases, pain points, and challenges. The ideal candidate has prior experience managing partner integrations in a fast-paced working environment. Key partner in managing issue resolution, product enhancements and advocating for the client with internal stakeholders at the Bank, including senior management, risk departments, IT, and operations/accounting. Also responsible for executive communication, process improvement, conducting certain risk management and operational responsibilities and partnering with external vendors on existing and new payment opportunities. Participate in organic growth strategies and opportunities; assist in evaluating opportunities, as needed, and play a role in the subsequent integration, management, and growth plans for new business. The role is responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Business, Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in Banking or Account Management or Payments Technology
  • Industry knowledge of payments, fintech, and compliance framework.
  • Ability to understand, visualize, and document client’s product construct and how it aligns with Newline’s technology stack for processing payments.
  • Knowledge of SFTP, API, webhooks, data formats, and related standards.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, product features, and functionality.
  • Prioritizes regular workload, special tasks and concurrent projects, allocating time and resources to ensure that work is completed accurately and efficiently within established time frame.

  • Capacity to quickly develop deep technical understanding of mobile wallet and digital payment processing, technology and capabilities
  • Broad understanding of the Payments industry and supporting business systems

  • Excellent analytical, presentation skills, written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage the largest existing and new clients within the Newline Group who have technical integrations.
  • Manage and assist clients with solutions and enhancements for their programs.
  • Implement program changes and work closely with a variety of business partners to bring the product/program to market.
  • Manage change for clients including marketing requests, technology, and functionality rollouts for products/programs and services.
  • Identify opportunities to improve integration processes and client experience.
  • Gather client feedback and share with cross functional teams to influence future roadmap decisions.
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of the strategic plan for the department.
  • Works with cross-functional teams of internal and external business partners on complex issues related to product development, implementation and ongoing servicing.
  • Deliver timely resolution of issues in partnership with business partners such as Product/Engineering, Program Management, Legal/Compliance Risk, Accounting, and other related teams.
  • Conduct research on competitor practices to ensure that our program’s products and services are completive in terms of features and pricing, and that quality service is being provided.
  • Ensure that our programs are designed and managed to minimize both financial and reputational risk to the Bancorp.
  • Monitor industry trends, including reading industry periodicals, web sites and other materials necessary to be an industry expert.
