About The Position

The Sr. Mobility Servicing Associate (Truck and Trailer) is responsible for the end-to-end collections and servicing of the Truck and Trailer Loan and Lease Commercial Vehicle Finance (CVF) and the Commercial Fleet customers ensuring a seamless customer experience. As a dedicated point of contact for customers, this role plays a key part in maintaining exceptional service standards while working to both retain and grow the portfolio through proactive relationship management and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 4- 6 years related financial services including commercial truck and trailer financing.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship management skills to build and maintain relationships and work with 3rd party vendors.
  • Effectively work in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service and telephone skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills to negotiate mutually beneficial arrangements with a customer.
  • Follow workflow processes for all assigned job duties.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting processes related to accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations.
  • Strong PC navigation skills, including knowledge of Windows operating environment.
  • Proven track record with delivering seamless customer experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Daybreak, KSIOP, CRM, and/or ALFA preferred.
  • Background in auto finance or dealer finance services a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage servicing tasks for end-to-end financial services lifecycle, from post origination to collections and remarketing.
  • Develop and maintain procedures for 100+ tasks across 50 states, abiding by the policy and regulatory guidelines, and submit for approval and publication in the company’s knowledge hub.
  • Review Commercial Truck and Trailer finance accounts for payment errors, any signs of fraud, or other issues and with various departments and stakeholders to resolve the issues.
  • Handle inbound and outbound Commercial Truck and Trailer finance customer service calls, and assist the customers on day-to-day account management, including statements, payments, insurance or any other account issues.
  • Participate in regular month-end reconciliation activities and assist Accounting and Tax teams with timely month-end reports, resolving issues, and supporting ad hoc issues.
  • Manage the health of the Commercial Truck and Trailer portfolio, by taking proactive actions to prevent delinquency and timely collections.
  • Perform collections duties including payment reconciliation, delinquency queue management, customer outreach, payment negotiation, inbound call management, customer information maintenance, account recovery and resolution.
  • Participate in process and system upgrade requirement sessions and contribute to improving the collections process efficiencies.
  • Work with vendors on repossession and accounting on charged off accounts.
  • Support accounting month-end closing process.
  • Support the customers with EOT processes.
  • Coordinate with the Remarketing vendor to process fees and proceeds.
  • Document, review and process all related documents related to EOT and/or remarketing.
