About The Position

SUMMARY The Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships, Belonging is responsible for developing, leading, and overseeing strategies that cultivate and manage external partnerships (e.g., with conferences, academic partners). Delivers programs, solutions and connections to enable a more engaged workforce, which better reflect the markets served, and supports our leaders and employees to create an inclusive workplace. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Partnership Development Work closely with internal partners (HRBP, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Division Leads) to develop and execute partnership strategies aligned with Medline’s business strategy, and People objectives. Survey and assess the external landscape: conferences and Minority Serving Institute (MSI) academic partners (e.g., Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs)), Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), functional and enterprise initiatives — to identify approaches that maximize value and outcomes. Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with potential new partners: talent/ culture organizations, advocacy and community groups, professional organizations, academic institutions, etc. Serve as Medline’s ambassador in external collaborations — representing Medline in partnerships, community engagements, academic alliances, etc., ensuring mutual benefit and aligned goals. Program Execution & Governance Oversee planning, development, and execution of identified initiatives/programs leveraging partnerships for optimal impact Integrate partnership activities into Medline’s broader Talent goals to ensure alignment Establish and maintain a governance model to advance programs and strategies with consistency and oversight. Communication & Engagement Develop/implement communication strategies to highlight the impact and successes of partnerships — internally and externally. Engage internal communities (e.g., ERGs, employees) to maximize activation and engagement with strategic partners. Impact Assessment & Continuous Improvement Establish metrics to evaluate the success and impact of partnership initiatives Report partnership outcomes and progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Budget Management Develop and manage the budget for Belonging strategic partnerships; ensure efficient resource allocation (including coordination between HR and business budgets).

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience as HR business partner or in an HR CoE (Center of Excellence) function such as Talent, People Analytics, or Inclusion and Diversity, including experience in the development and implementation of corporate-wide programs.
  • Ability to handle complex issues with discretion, think proactively, function independently and influence without authority
  • Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries through influence, negotiation and partnering
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills with the ability to use the facts to drive change and executive strategies
  • Proven project management skills
  • Consulting, advising or coaching skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
