POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, Sales Effectiveness strategically manages and implements Sales solutions that improve sales operations and efficiency. This role will ensure processes and systems support field sales selling processes and the Company’s sales strategy. The Senior Manager will work closely with business and IT stakeholders and/or outside vendor(s) to design, develop, test, train and implement solutions that meet the evolving needs of Sales. Other areas of responsibility include communication with cross-functional teams that utilize Sales technology solutions and management of overall adoption of these solutions. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as an internal subject matter expert on Sales processes and technology solutions. Drives innovation and continuous improvement in Sales processes, tools, and technology. Displays the communication skills to gather relevant front-line perspective and input and utilize learnings to influence peers, field leadership and Corporate executives. Builds working relationships and communicate effectively with Corporate and Field Sales staff and other key business partners regarding the Sales Effectiveness vision and initiatives. Works with other Corporate and Field Sales team members to manage projects by setting clear expectations and priorities, interacting with decision-makers and ensuring that all agreed upon deliverables are met on time. Coordinates business and functional requirement gathering from System Users, Business Owners and Subject Matter Experts. Leads efforts to select, configure, develop, and maintain Sales technology solutions, including Salesforce Sales Cloud. Acts as the primary contact for issues relating to Salesforce Sales Cloud technology, application and procedure related questions in the Company. Participates in end-user training, including development of training materials and delivery of training. Assists with creation of the value proposition (ROI) for proposed system enhancements. Creates detailed project work plans for sales system development and enhancement projects. Creates detailed documentation of business, functional, system (non-functional), user and reporting requirements that may include but are not limited to: Use Cases, Logical Models, Process Flow Diagrams, Report Specifications and Data Mapping & Flow Diagrams. Executes functional and user acceptance testing as part of project implementation. Communicates status, issues, and other critical information in a timely manner. Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
