The Senior Manager, Portfolio Strategy is a unique opportunity in the Edward's TMTT (Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies) organization. We are looking for a hands-on candidate who will play a key role in shaping execution of TMTT's portfolio strategy. This role will contribute to our annual strategic planning process, independently execute in-depth strategic analyses, and synthesize key strategic topics for an executive audience. TMTT is mission-driven to transform the standard of care for patients with Mitral and Tricuspid Valve disease, and this is an exciting time to join a team that is making critical decisions to guide our strategy. Position Summary: This role supports development of portfolio strategy from project inception through first commercial launch. This is an on-site position based in Irvine, CA How you will make an impact: Develop and manage a multi-year generational product and indication roadmap which is patient-centric, actionable, and delivers on future market growth and market leadership targets Assess and anticipate all global market research needs with input from stakeholders (e.g., Global Upstream Marketing Product Management) to inform and provide recommendations on key strategic decisions for portfolio planning Analyze potential market opportunities with higher complexity utilizing pro-forma models and analysis to provide recommendations on strategies and determine key financial metrics and market opportunity by consolidating market models with supporting assumptions Lead the development and implementation of portfolio management governance process and tools to enable analysis, visualization, and presentation of portfolio strategy that can be utilized to drive decision making Develop tools and processes to assess potential risks, such as competitive or other market threats, and integrate risk management into strategy formulation Develop market and value assessment metrics where appropriate in partnership with Global Upstream Marketing Product Management to support portfolio prioritization process; Proactively identify market risks and trade-offs that will impact portfolio strategy Present findings and recommendations to senior management Other incidental duties

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in in related field, minimum 10 years experience of work experience and previous related experience working in marketing or healthcare industry or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria Required or Master's Degree or equivalent in related field, 8 years experience of work experience and previous related experience working in marketing or healthcare industry or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria Required
