About The Position

We are seeking a Mechanical Systems Design Engineer to join the BBP team in Milpitas. These engineers play a crucial role in the development of innovative solutions that drive efficiency and sustainability in energy applications and other high-performance systems! This role involves designing and analyzing mechanical systems that operate under high pressure and flow conditions. This includes creating components and systems that can withstand extreme temperatures and pressures, ensuring safety and reliability in various applications.

Requirements

• Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years
• Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years
• Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years

Responsibilities

• Designing and testing mechanical components for high-pressure and high-flow applications, such as cell systems and turbine airfoils
• Using simulations and CAD tools to develop and refine designs for clean technologies and other high-performance systems
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical systems into comprehensive project designs and provide technical direction to less experienced engineers
• Documenting and maintaining technical documentation including design specifications, test results, and reports to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes
