This exciting and vital position involves designing complicated tooling and solutions for specific tests and collaborating with different departments as requested. Requirements

  • 2 year degree in a technical field with equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of work experience desired if have 4-year degree or 2 year degree in a technical field
  • Knowledge of materials desired
  • Knowledge of technical design required
  • Knowledge of geometrical tolerance required
  • Ability to design mechanical and/or electrical solutions.
  • Creo required and Solidworks capability.

Responsibilities

  • Design tools for production and specialty use.
  • Build prototypes
  • Estimate the cost of fixtures and equipment.
  • Implement Changes to Fixturing
  • Verifies fixtures for production
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to production fixtures and processes
