About The Position

As the Sr Marketing Technologist (individual contributor director level role) at Sandisk, you will be responsible for developing and driving our product technical marketing & GTM strategy for datacenter SSD.

Requirements

• BS/MS or equivalent experience required
• Strong desire to take ownership of the full product lifecycle
• Strong understanding of Flash based products
• 10+ years in product technical marketing

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive view of the enterprise SSD market – size, drivers, ecosystem, trends…
• Understand key suppliers, create respective SWOT analysis, market attributes…
• Have a good technical grasp of each supplier’s offerings in the marketplace (technical collateral including datasheets, solution guides, cookbooks ) as well as public announcements (blogs, PR, roadmap announcements, industry participation…)
• Create and deliver technical content – blogs, tutorials, presentations to enable sales and showcase Sandisk datacenter SSD portfolio
• Engage in outbound opportunities – channel, partner events, industry shows, webinars, customer meetings
• Interface with key datacenter market segment accounts to build a comprehensive GTM strategy that comprehends customer requirements and Sandisk’s datacenter portfolio
• Collaborate with Product Management to create product related sales and marketing materials and evangelize products and product strategy both internally and externally.
• Have a good understanding of the enterprise datacenter market
• Have worked in customer facing technical roles
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and dig in – to understand workloads, storage architecture, key technology trends in the Datacenter…
