About The Position

The Sr. Marketing Communications Manager at the American Heart Association will lead communication strategies for the Healthcare Business Solutions and Emergency Cardiovascular Care departments. This role involves developing and executing marketing plans, managing communications with various stakeholders, and ensuring consistent messaging across platforms. The position supports the American Heart Association's mission to promote health and hope for everyone, everywhere, and offers the flexibility of remote work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related area.
  • Five years of marketing/communications experience with high business literacy in online and social media.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Comprehensive skills in Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Outlook, PPT, Excel).
  • Excellent organization and planning skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and see them through from initiation to finalization.
  • Excellent collaboration/teamwork and customer service skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% local and overnight.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the communication needs across Healthcare Business Solutions and Emergency Cardiovascular Care.
  • Develop and execute communication and marketing plans for target audiences.
  • Create regular communications with the American Heart Association Training Network and Professional Education Hub customer base.
  • Lead communication in support of Training Network platforms such as Atlas and Training Central.
  • Develop, review, and edit copy for various marketing materials including newsletters and social media.
  • Drive communication support for ECC National/Regional conferences and coordinate on-site activities.
  • Lead market research efforts related to web analytics for the Instructor Network.
  • Support Board of Director and Senior leadership content and presentations as needed.
  • Oversee and manage ECC Beat and ECC Newsletter for quality content and timely release.
  • Establish trusted communication with senior level volunteers and provide excellent customer service.
