About The Position

The Sr. Marketing Manager for Buildings and Construction Services at Central States Manufacturing is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for the Elevate Structures construction business. This role focuses on various construction industries, including self-storage, hotels, multi-family housing, student housing, and assisted living. The manager will work closely with the management and sales teams to create insights-driven marketing plans that align with business growth and customer experience objectives.

Requirements

• 5 years' experience in marketing, product marketing, integrated marketing, corporate strategy, or communications in a B2B environment.
• 5 years' experience in construction trades, industrial markets, or manufacturing, preferably in building materials or commercial construction.
• 3 years' experience conducting primary and secondary research.
• 3 years' experience leading new product launches.
• 2 years' experience working with trade or industry associations on marketing partnerships.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, entrepreneurship, industrial engineering, finance, data analysis, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Research and create marketing strategies for Elevate Structures construction business.
• Act as a subject matter expert on markets, audiences, customer segments, and products.
• Conduct analysis of customers, capabilities, competitors, and industry trends to develop annual plans.
• Create messaging and value propositions that resonate with customers.
• Collaborate with division management and sales to define and execute business plans.
• Drive growth of the contractor network.
• Provide feedback on unmet customer needs and new product opportunities.
• Evaluate competitive position regarding price, promotion, product, and customer experience.
• Educate sales staff on product and service communication from the client's perspective.
• Provide cross-functional leadership for marketing activities.
