About The Position
The Senior Leader is responsible for leading all warehousing, material handling and inventory management operations for a mid-volume, large equipment manufacturing facility. This role ensures operational excellence across inventory management, material flow, and third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships while driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This role is an expert in their discipline, providing professional or thought leadership. It influences policy and ensures delivery within its own function, linking with other functions of the organization. It may lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. The role is guided by functional policy and influences policy/operating guidelines about important subjects. It leads others to find creative solutions to address complex problems that may impact the organization. The incumbent has the ability to evaluate the quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis, using multiple internal and external resources outside of their own function to help arrive at a decision.
Requirements
- Certified, or in process of certification, Lean Six Sigma (BB / MBB).
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in the Quality & Process Improvement. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in USA - Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
