Key Responsibilities Strategic & Business Leadership Develop, implement, and execute strategic business plans aligned with corporate objectives. Identify and pursue business expansion opportunities through customer relationships, industry events, and market awareness. Report on divisional performance, risks, and action plans to senior leadership. Operational Oversight Oversee daily sanitation operations across multiple facilities through Area Managers. Ensure performance standards are met for service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement through optimized systems, processes, and corrective action plans. Financial Management Own divisional budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Approve and monitor labor, supplies, chemicals, billing, and expense overages. Ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness on a weekly basis. Implement cost-reduction strategies while maintaining service and compliance standards. People Leadership & Culture Lead, coach, and develop Area Managers and leadership teams. Foster a high-performance, People-First culture through coaching, training, and accountability. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development. Serve as the second escalation point for employee relations matters. Compliance, Safety & Food Safety Ensure full compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements including OSHA, USDA, EEOC, and customer standards. Partner with customers, regulatory agencies, and internal departments to enforce, document, and improve safety and food safety practices. Maintain immediate communication with Corporate regarding regulatory activity and corrective actions. Customer & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary escalation point for customers within the division. Develop and implement action plans for underperforming accounts or facilities. Strengthen long-term customer partnerships through communication, trust, and results. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Food Safety, Safety, HR, Accounting, IT, and Customer Service to ensure organizational alignment. Liaise with senior management to support unified company objectives and informed decision-making. Qualifications & Experience Required Minimum 18 months as an Area Manager or equivalent leadership experience. Valid Driver’s License. Preferred An associate or bachelor's degree in business, Management, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Work Environment This role requires regular travel between facilities and flexibility across work shifts. Facilities may include wet, hot, or cold environments, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Work is a blend of field operations and office-based strategic planning, with some travel for meetings and site visits. Travel up to 80%.
