About The Position

It’s a very exciting time in Workplace IT at Comcast as we work to better enable a global workforce to collaborate, including the evaluation of AI solutions such as Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise. In this role, the Sr. Manager of Workplace IT Product Management will with IT architecture and engineering across Comcast, Sky, and NBCU to improve Workplace IT tool experiences to be simple, easy and awesome. The role will be the expert on the toolsets in the Product Areas listed above, with a high focus on AI Microsoft Teams, Office 365 and the virtual meeting lifecycle (scheduling, joining, collaborating), and IT support processes. This role will own and manage employee experiences to then build a strong vision for where the products need to go in order to move the business forward as a global technology leader. The Senior Manager, Product Management leads a global team to conduct user needs analysis and focus groups in developing product direction and influencing product improvement backlog, maintains product backlogs to prioritize business needs, and overall focuses on elevating the employee experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree: Information Technology
• While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
• 7-10 Years Relevant Work Experience

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
• Experience using M365 Copilot and ChatGPT for productivity and automation
• Familiarity with Microsoft and Cisco conference room technologies
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence
• Experience with Smartsheet for project and workflow management

Responsibilities

• Internalizes and represents the Voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle.
• Coordinates across other functional areas to secure buy-in to deliver on the defined end-to-end customer experience.
• Performs competitive analysis and conducts market research.
• Maintains updated view of key competitive changes.
• Teams with product development to deliver high quality products on time.
• Participates in the strategic planning for enhancements to product content, pricing, packaging and features.
• Participate in defining product business and functional requirements.
• Provides product support and documentation and develops product materials.
• Assists in budgeting and variance analysis of product's unit and financial performance, with goal of identifying opportunities and risks.
• Drafts and manages requirements and other supporting business documentation (such as use cases, possibly M&Ps [methods and procedures], executive summaries etc.).
• Leads concepts defining an end-to-end customer experience and expected full lifecycle costs.
• Contributes to the product vision across team and the organization.
• Conducts feasibility assessments, capability gap analysis (i.e., what is wanted vs. what is attainable).
• Manage change requests.
• Validates downstream deliverables and final offering (business acceptance testing).
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
