About The Position

Lovesac is seeking a hands-on Product Owner to lead the delivery and evolution of a mission-critical custom application that powers our StealthTech technology and the evolution of the application in alignment with our strategic roadmap. This role owns the product end-to-end, from requirements and roadmap through delivery, launch, and continuous improvement. This Sr. Manager of StealthTech Product, will operate at the intersection of hardware, software, mobile applications, and customer experience, working closely with internal teams and external partners (including SI’s, ODMs, and certification bodies). The role requires strong execution discipline, technical fluency, and the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization. Candidates must fully reside in the United States at all times during employment and should have the ability to travel as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role delivering complex software products
  • 5+ years of experience in a people management role required.
  • Experience delivering consumer-facing mobile applications integrated with hardware or IoT platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile product management, backlog management, and release planning.
  • Technical fluency across APIs, mobile platforms, embedded systems, and cloud services.
  • Proven experience working with external vendors and managing SOW-based delivery.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with connected home, audio, consumer electronics, or IoT products.
  • Familiarity with certification processes (e.g., Google Cast, Apple AirPlay, Dolby, Spotify).
  • Experience scaling a single-purpose application into a broader platform or ecosystem.
  • Background in high-consideration consumer products or premium lifestyle brands.

Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership & Delivery
  • Serve as the single accountable owner for the StealthTech application.
  • Translate business, customer, and technical requirements into clear product epics, features, and user stories.
  • Own and maintain the product roadmap, backlog prioritization, and release planning.
  • Drive day-to-day execution with various internal teams (e.g., Brand, Marketing, Product, Engineering) and external vendors, ensuring milestones, scope, quality, and timelines are met.
  • Act as the primary decision-maker on tradeoffs across scope, timing, cost, and quality.
  • Technical & Platform Leadership
  • Partner closely with hardware, firmware, mobile, and cloud engineering teams to ensure cohesive system design and integration.
  • Understand and manage dependencies across audio hardware, embedded software, mobile apps (iOS/Android), cloud services, and certifications.
  • Ensure alignment with architectural standards, security requirements, and scalability needs.
  • Oversee build, test, release, and OTA update strategies across the platform.
  • Vendor & Partner Management
  • Serve as the primary product counterpart to external partners and development vendors.
  • Review deliverables against SOW-defined requirements, milestones, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and prioritization decisions in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Retail, Operations, Customer Support, and Leadership.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with executives, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support launch readiness, training, and post-launch performance monitoring.
  • Product Evolution & Customer Experience
  • Drive the long-term evolution of the StealthTech platform.
  • Incorporate additional device types, features, and customer use cases over time.
  • Use data, customer feedback, and business insights to inform ongoing product enhancements.
