About The Position

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced and technical executive to lead a team of Specialized Field Solutions Architects (SAs) focused on SAP Technologies and AI Infrastructure. This role involves hiring and developing cloud-based solutions architects by coaching them on best practices, solution selling, presentation skills, and creating complex architectures. The manager will collaborate with sales to drive revenue growth by helping enterprise customers and partners implement innovative cloud computing solutions on AWS, and work with services teams to enable new capabilities for SAP and AI workloads. The ideal candidate is passionate about guiding companies and partners on SAP best practices on AWS, workload migration, and modernizing legacy architectures. They will act as a thought leader, focusing on the value AWS technology brings to customers, and will help team members develop their AWS expertise, speaking, writing, presentation, and executive interaction skills. The role also requires adept interaction, communication, and partnering across various AWS teams, including services, marketing, and professional services, and representing the team to executive management. Requirements

• 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
• Bachelor's degree

• Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing high-performing technical teams
• Knowledge of AWS services

Responsibilities

• Single-threaded ownership of a US-based Specialist Solution Architecture team focused on helping AWS customers migrate and maintain their SAP workloads.
• Leads a team of senior Solution Architects supporting customers with large-scale generative AI workloads on self-managed infrastructure.
• Maintains key stakeholder relationships across AWS at a global level.
• Serves as a technical executive sponsor for key accounts in the US.
• Actively coaches and performance manages a high-performing team, holding a high bar for results and individual growth.
