We are seeking a strategic, hands-on, and forward-thinking Senior Manager of Server and Cloud to lead the design, operation, and evolution of our hybrid infrastructure environments. This role is responsible for overseeing the performance, security, and scalability of our data center and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, architecture, and operations management experience, with a proven track record of driving efficiency, resilience, and innovation across infrastructure platforms. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, with a recent focus on cloud computing.
  • 4+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience managing hybrid environments including AWS and Azure deployments.
  • Strong technical expertise in virtualization, networking, storage systems, and cloud-native services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor team to deliver consistent, high-quality end-user services while also providing direction, coaching, and professional development.
  • Implement and measure on performance metrics such as resolution times, device uptime, patch compliance, vulnerability status, and user satisfaction.
  • Create and manage budgets, vendor contracts, and service agreements for infrastructure and cloud services.
  • Implement and maintain robust backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Manage and optimize VMware infrastructure.
  • Work closely with Warehouse Operations ensuring warehouse systems are supported in a timely manner.
  • Lead the design, deployment, and management of scalable and secure cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure, supporting hybrid workloads.
  • Develop cloud architecture strategies that align with business objectives and enable digital transformation.
  • Oversee cloud cost optimization, monitoring, and governance to align cloud spend with business goals.
  • Work closely with security, application, and data teams to ensure secure cloud architectures and enforce cloud security best practices (e.g., identity and access management, encryption, monitoring).
  • Drive cloud modernization initiatives such as lift-and-shift migrations, serverless adoption, and automation of infrastructure provisioning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native development, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
  • Ensure secure, compliant, and reliable operations.
  • Lead vulnerability management efforts for server and cloud infrastructure, ensuring timely identification, prioritization, and remediation of software and hardware vulnerabilities.
  • Alignment of systems and tools within area of responsibility to security frameworks such as NIST and CIS.
  • Ensure activities and processes align to security requirements.
  • Lead and manage Server and Cloud-related projects, including Operating System upgrades, software updates, and new solution implementations from planning through execution and delivery.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and resources while ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on scope and progress.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for server modernization, cloud operations, and technology evolution.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership, teams, and business stakeholders to align infrastructure capabilities with organizational goals.
  • Establish and document standards that align to best practices.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to hardware, software, licensing, and support agreements.
  • Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, asset tracking, and user guides.
  • Ensure documentation, disaster recovery planning, and capacity forecasting are always up to date.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the IT infrastructure team and overall business operations.
