About The Position

As a Senior Manager – Cloud Identity, you will report to the Director of Identity Governance and Administration, and lead our enterprise cloud identity capabilities across multi-cloud and SaaS environments.  As the leader of an IAM engineering team, you will be responsible for guiding the team in achieving functional expertise and delivering high-quality services for our identity and access platform. This is an exciting opportunity for you to play a critical role in transforming our global identity and access platform, working closely with our Product Managers, Technical Leads, and Architecture teams. This role blends people leadership, technical depth, and strategic execution, ensuring identity is an enabler of digital transformation while meeting security, compliance, and resiliency requirements.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to live organizational values related to integrity, inclusion, collaboration, and accountability.
  • 8+ years of experience in identity, access management, or cloud security engineering, with significant hands‑on experience in cloud platforms.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams, including performance management and career development.
  • Deep understanding of cloud identity concepts, including workforce identity, application identity, service principals, managed identities, and API security.
  • Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols and standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, and LDAP.
  • Experience designing and operating identity solutions using one or more enterprise identity platforms (e.g., Entra ID/Azure AD, Okta, Ping, AWS IAM).
  • Proficiency with modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automation, testing frameworks, and observability.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading cloud identity strategy in a large, complex, or highly regulated enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience with multi‑cloud identity architectures and hybrid identity integrations.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architectures and identity‑centric security models.
  • Experience integrating identity platforms with SaaS applications and custom-developed cloud-native applications.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX ) as they relate to identity and access controls.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of cloud identity engineers, providing coaching, mentorship, and career development while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Own the technical direction and roadmap for cloud identity platforms, including identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, and privileged access in cloud and SaaS environments.
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native identity services and zero trust principles across public cloud providers (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Partner with Product Managers and Architecture teams to align cloud identity capabilities with business and platform strategies.
  • Establish and enforce engineering best practices, including secure coding, infrastructure as code, automated testing, and continuous delivery.
  • Act as a thought leader and evangelist for DevSecOps, automation, and modern identity patterns (e.g., identity as a control plane).
  • Define and track service health, reliability, security metrics, and operational KPIs for cloud identity services.
  • Lead initiatives to improve resilience, scalability, and cost efficiency of identity platforms in cloud environments.
  • Support enterprise initiatives by providing identity subject matter expertise for application migrations, cloud onboarding, and digital transformation programs.
  • Build strong partnerships across security, infrastructure, compliance, and risk teams to ensure identity controls meet regulatory and internal standards.
