Requirements

  • Moderate experience with Microsoft Office applications spanning 2-3 years.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, & Adobe with 2-3 years of experience.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Supervisory or Leadership role.
  • Capacity to offer advice on improving performance.
  • CRME certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Personally manage 5-7 properties and achieve target goals across multiple regions.
  • Provide critical analysis of strategies, room statistics, demand factors, and competitive demand evaluation while developing key relationships with Inventory Management, Rental Sales, and Rental Marketing.
  • Review end-of-month room statistics reports, offering critical analysis on performance compared to budget and forecasts, alongside the results of implemented strategies.
  • Identify group rates and block caps for group bookings; ensure pricing and blocks support implemented strategies.
  • Resolve group block increases, group rate & cut-off adjustments, and lead weekly Group Pick-up Meetings, examining all FDC reports and discussing concerns and action plans with Sales Managers and the Sr. Director of Sales.
  • Coordinate with Rental Sales and Marketing to complete action plans aimed at improving performance to meet or surpass forecasts.
  • Conduct Revenue Team meetings.
  • Determine Wholesale/FIT regular season & promotional rates, terms, special requirements, & black-out dates.
  • Complete weekly booking pace reports and analysis, recommending strategy adjustments to Regional Revenue Managers when appropriate.
  • Analyze past and present trends and make recommendations for future strategies.
  • Formulate, assess, and update sales and pricing tactics & yearly transient pricing.
  • Ensure pricing consistency across all distribution channels (OnQ R&I, GDS, Internet, Online Travel Agency sites, various channels).
  • Review competitive shops consistently (at least once per week) and identify selling strategies and market trends.
  • Maintain Demand calendars, convention calendars, and city event calendars to stay updated on all demand generators.
  • Maintain historical data on events and performance during demand-generating events.
  • Track Club and Marketing inventory in Property Management Systems and adjust inventory controls and pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with comp set hotel DRMs/Revenue Managers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with OTA Market Managers and other third-party channel managers.
  • Work closely with HR to ensure accurate protocols impacting attendance, payroll, disciplinary action, etc.
  • Responsible for hiring Revenue Agents.
  • Manage Reservations Manager by assisting with overall Reservations Operations, scheduling PTO, assisting with prioritizing workflow based on hotel demand, and performance review.
  • Collaborate with General Managers and Front Office teams to ensure sellout strategies are in place.
  • Take part in the transition of DRI & Bluegreen regarding rebranding properties, communicating policies and procedures, and offering training.
  • Carry out additional tasks and special projects as delegated by the Director of Revenue Management & VP of Revenue Management, Sales, & Marketing.
  • Instruct, support, and direct Regional Revenue Managers & Revenue Managers, handling all elements of connected job duties and performing performance assessments.
