About The Position

The Senior Manager of VDCI will play a pivotal role in managing and implementing all operational programs across a multi-state region. Reporting directly to the Regional Director of Operations and collaborating closely with the executive staff, this position is responsible for the overall success, efficiency, and growth of our regional programs. The Senior Manager will ensure that all operations meet and exceed customer expectations while strictly adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Environmental Science, Entomology, Public Health or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience of leadership in a multi-site or multi-state.
  • Proven experience managing large budgets and driving financial performance
  • In depth knowledge of mosquito control operations, public health pest management and regulatory compliance (FIFRA, state pesticide laws, etc)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, strategic planning, and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel extensively within the multi-state regions
  • Must possess or be able to obtain all necessary state pesticide applicator/operator licenses.

  • Experience within the pest control or related service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies to ensure program effectiveness, efficiency, and profitability across the multi-state region.
  • Manage regional budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth in alignment with company goals.
  • Oversee the deployment of resources, including fleet, equipment, and inventory, to optimize operational capacity.
  • Analyze performance data and metrics (e.g., treatment efficacy, service delivery times, safety records) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure all regional programs comply with federal, state, and local environmental, health, safety, and pesticide regulations.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of mosquito biology, control techniques, and relevant regulatory changes.
  • Oversee licensing, certification, and training programs to ensure all personnel meet required standards.
  • Implement and manage a robust Quality Assurance program for all field operations, documentation, and service delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional managers and supervisory staff.
  • Oversee regional talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and retention efforts.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and productive work environment that encourages professional growth and accountability.
  • Ensure effective communication cascades throughout the region, connecting field operations with executive strategy.
  • Serve as a high-level point of contact for significant client accounts and community stakeholders.
  • Manage and resolve complex customer issues and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, public meetings, and community outreach events to build positive brand awareness and public trust.
