About The Position

The Senior Manager, Recruiting, serves as the site owner for all high-volume hiring operations, accountable for workforce intake, recruiter team leadership, hiring delivery, and stakeholder partnership to support production and operational growth. This role functions as the business operator for site talent delivery, translating workforce forecasts into scalable hiring plans, leading frontline recruiting teams, optimizing funnel performance, and partnering with operations leadership to ensure the right people are hired at the right time. This is a highly visible leadership role suited for candidates with experience leading large-scale, fast-paced hiring operations who bring strong operational discipline, data fluency, and cross-functional leadership skills. Role reports directly to the Director of Recruiting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Recruiting or Recruiting Operations
  • 3+ years leading high-volume recruiting teams
  • Proven experience owning scalable hiring operations for manufacturing, fulfillment, logistics, healthcare operations, or similar environments
  • Demonstrated success partnering with operational leaders and influencing hiring decisions
  • Experience building recruiter capacity models and managing workforce intake plans.
  • Strong proficiency in ATS workflows and recruiting metrics/dashboards. (Ashby Experience preferred, not required)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership presence
  • Ability to travel up to 15% as needed

Responsibilities

  • Own all high-volume and hourly hiring delivery for assigned site(s)
  • Serve as the primary Talent Acquisition partner to Plant and Operations leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop site recruiters and recruiting coordinators
  • Act as the hiring advisor for rate planning, hiring campaigns, labor market analysis, and ramp timing
  • Support executive-level workforce planning and headcount discussions
  • Translate ramp plans, attrition trends, and production forecasts into weekly hiring strategies
  • Proactively identify ahead-of-need hiring risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Manage recruiter capacity models to balance workload with hiring demand
  • Ensure efficient interview scheduling, hiring event execution, and onboarding processes.
  • Drive recruiter performance across hiring output, forecast accuracy, time-to-fill, offer acceptance, and retention
  • Own site hiring dashboards, weekly reporting, and performance insights to HR, Finance, and Operations partners
  • Monitor pipeline health, hiring performance, and forecast confidence; design action plans for improvement
  • Use data to guide sourcing investments, process adjustments, and recruiter allocation.
  • Continuously improve workflows to increase speed, accuracy, and hiring quality
  • Drive adoption of standardized assessments, structured interviews, and consistent hiring processes
  • Partner cross-functionally to remove bottlenecks impacting candidate flow or start readiness
  • Resolve candidate escalations and protect a high-quality candidate experience and employer brand
  • Lead hiring events, community partnerships, and local sourcing strategies to build talent pipelines
  • Ensure adherence to hiring policies, EEO requirements, background screening standards, and internal audit controls
