Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in Quality, Operations, or Engineering
  • 5+ years experience in Manufacturing and Supplier Quality
  • 5+ years in a managerial role
  • Expertise in ISO, Six Sigma, Lean, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work in a matrix/cross-functional environment
  • Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills
  • Experience with products that have HW and SW components
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to travel up to 25% - domestically and internationally

Nice To Haves

  • Masters in Engineering, Quality, or related field
  • Electromechanical and manufacturing operations experience
  • Six Sigma Black belt preferred
  • Working Knowledge and Application of Lean Manufacturing, DFM, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Voice of the Customer, and Total Cost of Ownership
  • Ability to implement Statistical Process Control
  • Ability to work in a matrix/cross-functional environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to create best-in-class processes across all quality engagements, including customer, manufacturing, supplier, product, and software
  • Proven record of leading quality transformations
  • Direct ownership of ISO 9001 improvements and governance across all CG quality functions. Auditing and maintaining readiness at all times towards compliance
  • Develop and implement new KPIs to measure the progress and success of quality improvements
  • Drive innovation through technology, including enterprise QMS implementation and data analytics
  • Ensures compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.
  • Leads initiatives to ensure conformance to global quality standards across all manufacturing facilities, supply chains, and quality management processes
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives in quality processes and practices.
  • Leads the identification, prioritization, and execution of quality improvement projects across the organization to improve operational efficiency, product reliability, and customer satisfaction
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
  • Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
  • Motivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team members
  • Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policies
  • Maintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communications
  • Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CG mission, vision and values.
