Senior Project Manager - Retail Financial Renovations & Infrastructure Position Overview Senior Project Manager responsible for end-to-end delivery of retail financial sector projects including renovations (both minor and major), new builds, and facility infrastructure upgrades. Essential Requirements Education & Certifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred LEED AP certification advantageous Experience 7-10 years project management experience in commercial construction 5+ years specific experience in financial services/retail banking projects Proven track record managing projects $1M-$25M+ in value Experience with branch renovations, bank build-outs, and financial facility infrastructure such as security systems, IT rooms, ATMs, vaults, etc. Experience with building systems such as HVAC and Building monitoring, Fire Protection and monitoring, etc. Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (ADA, National Codes, FED regulations on banking institutions) Experience with local authorities having jurisdiction including zoning authorities Technical Competencies Project Management Proficiency in project scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) Budget management and cost control expertise Risk assessment and mitigation strategies Change order management and scope control Quality assurance and safety management protocols Financial Services Sector Knowledge Understanding of banking operational workflows Knowledge of security requirements (cameras, alarms, vault systems) Familiarity with ADA compliance in financial facilities Experience with technology infrastructure (ATMs, teller systems, network requirements) Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements Technical Skills Proficiency in BIM/VDC platforms (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore) Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling Document control and contract administration Permit and regulatory approval processes Ability to learn new software quickly and integrate it fully in your day to day tasks Core Competencies Leadership & Communication Strong leadership skills managing cross-functional teams including designers, architects of record, Operations staff and Owner Vendors Excellent written and verbal communication Stakeholder management and client relationship building Ability to present to C-level executives in both written and verbal form Conflict resolution and negotiation skills Analytical & Problem-Solving Critical thinking and decision-making under pressure Data analysis and reporting capabilities Process improvement and optimization Strategic planning and forecasting Preferred Qualifications Additional Experience Experience with national retail chains or multi-site programs Familiar with restaurant design and experienced in restaurant construction Technology integration projects (digital banking, smart buildings) Key Performance Indicators On-time project delivery (target: 95%+) Budget adherence (100% within approved budget) Client satisfaction scores (4.5/5.0 or higher) Safety record (zero incidents target) Quality metrics and deficiency management Travel Requirements 40-50% travel depending on project portfolio Ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects across different geographical markets Flexibility for extended site visits during critical project phases This role requires a seasoned professional who can navigate the unique challenges of financial services construction while delivering exceptional results for institutional clients. Estimated compensation for this position: 110,000.00 – 151,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
