The Senior Manager, Project Delivery Business Excellence supports the strategic advancement and operational optimization of project delivery processes across the organization. This role contributes to implementing a clear vision aligned with enterprise objectives and finding opportunities for continuous improvement in construction management, external partner engagement, and construction safety. The Senior Manager develops a collaborative, high‑performance culture and ensures that project delivery practices are efficient, standardized, and aligned with business priorities. This individual will demonstrate strong capabilities in relationship management, supplier governance, construction safety, and construction management and will play a key role in implementing governance frameworks and operational enhancements across multiple workstreams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent university degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related technical field from an accredited institution required.
  • 8-10 years of related experience in project delivery, construction, and/or design experience
  • Proven ability to manage complex initiatives across multiple regions or functions.
  • Strong understanding of construction management terminology, construction safety principles, project governance.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with external partners, contractors, or suppliers.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • English language proficiency (oral and written) is required
  • This position will require 25-35% domestic and international travel

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with enterprise-level continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Prior exposure to supplier governance or multi‑functional project environments.
  • Familiarity with contracting strategies, project governance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Prior experience in enterprise‑level capital project delivery environments
  • Prior experience with Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) or Alliance Delivery model projects
  • Certifications with a governing safety organization (ie. OSHA or equivalent)

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships with key supplier partners across Engineering, Construction, Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q), Project Management, Construction Safety, and infrastructure equipment.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and refining construction strategies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Promote consistent, harmonized construction practices across global projects from design through operational handover.
  • Provide technical insight and guidelines related to construction execution and project delivery.
  • Support multi-functional collaboration to ensure appropriate construction partners and methodologies are engaged for project needs.
  • Champion continuous improvement principles and support the introduction of emerging methodologies, tools, and technologies.
  • Promote a culture focused on learning, operational excellence, across projects and partner organizations.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze program dashboards to highlight achievements, gaps, and upcoming priorities.
