L3Harris Corporation is currently seeking a high-energy Senior Program Manager to lead the growth and execution of a portfolio of programs within the Command Control & Communications (C3) business. The Sr. PM will have a unique end-to-end life cycle management opportunity to leverage decades of L3Harris experience in Advanced Navigation & Maritime Communications Control solutions. This involves working with the largest Shipyard in the domestic US and help shape next generation solutions with customers, build a portfolio of new business, and own its profitability in execution. Programs include solutions for Steering Gear and Navigation Display Controls solutions that are deployed to critical US Navy platforms such as Aircraft Carriers (CVN), Amphibious Landing Crafts (LHA), and Surface Combatants (DDG & FFG). Integration with critical Navigation, Hull Machinery & Electrical (HM&E), and Communications systems are paramount for mission success. Job description inquires additional oversight and working with US Navy branches, like NSWC. Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Drives program execution to achieve key business and financial objectives for orders, revenue recognition, operating income, and free cash flow for new, continuing, or current programs. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs within a challenging Advanced Navigation maritime portfolio. Participates in the negotiation of contracts and change modifications. Supports coordination of proposal preparations, business plans, performance Statement of Works (SOWs), financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as Programmatic escalation lead to customers for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product research, development, integration, and test. Expands the product line with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications. Chairs Earned Value Management System (EVMS) monitoring and adherence to performance reporting, within respective portfolio. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas.
