The Senior Product Manager role will report to the Senior Director, Product Management role. Responsibilities Manages Product Manager and Associate Product Manager individual contributor roles Develop and refine prioritized product needs based on insights from market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, business needs and collaboration with subject matter experts Collaborate with your product peers to prioritize significant problems to solve, make trade-off decisions, and ultimately translate your priorities into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria Own the successful delivery of your roadmap and share the success of the overall portfolio Effectively identify and manage cross-team dependencies Build effective relationships at that matter at leadership levels of the organization with engineering, design, QA and a variety of cross-functional stakeholders Develop communications material, value props and high-level strategic justification to help explain the why of your product both internally and externally Develop relationships with customers and prospects, gather and understand customer feedback on existing products and products in development and conduct effective interviews to better understand the context, pressures, complete understanding of the problems they need to solve to deliver the right solution Communicate the vision of the product, value proposition and release goals to the cross-functional team and leadership as part of the release planning process Lead and develop a team of product managers Help your teams remove obstacles, focus and prioritize to achieve their goals and milestones Required Knowledge and Skills Translates strategies into clear and measurable goals and objectives that achieve results Recognizes trends in business, industry and market information that reveals business opportunities Regularly proposes new approaches, methods, or technologies that are highly successful Exhibits customer empathy by quickly and effectively solving even the most difficult, customer problems; as a result, strengthens the relationship with the customer Coaches associate project managers, builds effective cross-functional relationships and influence priorities of other functions Provides valuable and needed assistance, information and support to others, to build a basis for future reciprocity; makes others want to build a partnership Uses advanced analytics to guide product decisions
