As a Senior Manager of Product Management at F5, you will play a pivotal role in driving product innovation and excellence within the platform hardware and F5 base operating system (F5OS). This position involves leading initiatives that enhance user experience, drive growth, and deliver value to customers, while shaping the future of F5's product portfolio in the cybersecurity industry.

  • Accountable for F5OS strategy, all releases of F5OS software, and F5OS lifecycle management.
  • Define principles, guidelines, and standards for release planning in F5OS software, including hierarchical backlog prioritization and feature requirements.
  • Lead a small team of product managers to execute all processes in the product lifecycle, including market research, competitor analysis, planning, and product launch.
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for development by engineering teams for both software and hardware offerings.
  • Act as a change agent for the adoption of new technology and solutions in support of F5's corporate execution priorities.
  • At least ten years of experience working with networking and/or security technology.
  • Experience in product management, preferably with at least five years in the field.
  • Proven track record of turning new ideas into launched products and building successful cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Agile transformation in a large organization.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to various audiences.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams of product professionals, including designers and developers.
  • Ability to partner with PM Leadership to define and maintain a PM strategy and process for roadmap alignment.
