About The Position

Multiple Positions Available: 1. Manage budgetary, people development and operations objectives within the Fulfillment Center. 2. Oversee aspects of operation or functions at the site. 3. Managing and lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, coach and mentor the team to ensure performance objectives are met, build positive employee relations and build leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center. 4. Drive creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other Lean initiatives to enable their functional area and ultimately the FC to meet and exceed business plan. 5. Oversee overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of either Inbound or Outbound operations. 6. Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers. Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Ops Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments. 7. Leverage the Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, and rolling them into the creation of improvement plans for the functional area. 8. Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and among the network. 9. Work closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their area, as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiatives. 10. Supervise 4 Operations Managers. Requirements

  • A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline and 2 years of experience in technical management, management consulting, or engineering.
  • In the alternative, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline and 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in technical management, management consulting, or engineering.
  • 2 years of management experience (salaried workforce or program management) in a global supply chain, manufacturing, production/procurement, distribution, logistics or related environment/operations.
  • 2 years of experience using lean process improvement, six sigma methodologies or related performance metrics/process improvements to increase efficiency within processes, forecasting, planning, optimization, and logistics.
  • 1 year of cross-functional coordination experience across different business units and experience conducting qualitative/quantitative data analysis to support business decision making and cross-functional initiatives
