About The Position

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role leads a team of supervisors and production staff, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in manufacturing processes.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and production planning tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).
  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (Master's preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with semiconductor equipment, electronics, or optical devices.
  • Familiarity with metrology and calibration methodology.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules are met.
  • Optimize resource utilization, including labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain robust quality control processes.
  • Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop manufacturing supervisors and staff.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on production strategies and capacity planning.
  • Support new product introductions and scaling of operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Promote a safe working environment through training and audits.
