The Senior Manager position is responsible for the overall safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the Rough Rider assets within North Dakota, reporting out of the North Dakota headquarters in Watford City, ND. Rough Rider facilities include Rough Rider Crude General Field, Beartooth Saltwater System, and the Rough Rider Midstream assets in ND.

Requirements

Minimum of B.S. degree or equivalent experience with 10 years of experience or equivalent work experience.
Broad and varied experience in the maintenance and operations of pipelines.
Must be able to perform in a fast-paced ever-changing environment, and simultaneously manage numerous activities at once.
Sound technical, operational, administrative, and maintenance judgment and decision-making skills are required.
Proven ability to manage large numbers of employees.
Minimum 10 years of industry experience and preferred a minimum 5+ years in previous leadership role.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

Familiar with regulatory guidelines of government agencies and with the Incident Command System concerning emergency response.
Previous experience as Incident Commander.
Experience staffing and hiring field teams.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all pipeline systems within North Dakota.
Directs the operation and maintenance of pipeline systems through the management of North Dakota supervisors and supporting staff departments.
Monitors administration of company policy.
Evaluate employee performance and goal achievement.
Responsible for review of and implementation of North Dakota expense and capital budgets.
Provides guidance to resolve operational problems as required.
Works unified with shared service departments to maintain consistency with all areas of business and maximize benefits of all departments.
Supports capital projects through project commissioning activities.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policy.
