As the Sr. Manager of the Mechanical Engineering group, you will lead a diverse and motivated team of engineers specializing in mechanical engineering and semiconductor solutions, primarily based in Fremont. Your role will involve serving as a coach and mentor, fostering the growth of your team members in both competencies and skills while promoting a collaborative and innovative work environment. You will coordinate various projects, ensuring their accurate completion and cost-effectiveness, while highlighting the team’s expertise in optomechanical system design, stages, lasers, optics, and cooling solutions. Additionally, you will handle relationships with suppliers and development partners, negotiating and managing contracts to ensure outstanding quality and efficiency in project implementation. By working closely with module and system architects, you will help define and enhance current and future competencies in EFA product development. Beyond management, you will actively contribute to direct design efforts, providing technical guidance and expertise to solve complex engineering challenges.
