Job Summary: In this role, you will have responsibility for the performance of the supply chain team for assigned programs under the Advanced Technology umbrella. This position is ON-SITE in Tucson, AZ.

Requirements

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Experience w ith supply chain, vendor management, Risk Assessment/Mitigation and/or performance management
  • Prior ERP work experience, SAP highly preferred
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Proposal experien ce and strong familiarity with the FAR
  • Experience as a Materials Program Manager
  • Previous history managing employees
  • Experience working in a matrix organization and multi-site leadership
  • Degree in Business/Supply Chain/Engineering Related Subject preferred
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills (English)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines
  • Project management experience is a strong plus
  • Existing Secret clearance with T/S Security eligibility

Responsibilities

  • Manages execution of processes, standards, and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy, including RFPs, Risk and Opportunities, EAC, IMS management, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution.
  • Reviews and assesses request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
  • Implement key performance indicators internally and with our supply base to ensure timely delivery to customers and ensure adherence to the plan.
  • Work closely with Operations, Planning and Finance functions to optimize planning and supply chain cycle to meet development requirements.
  • Support and engage with various Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to resolve supply chain issues and serve as supply chain SME for other functional areas.
  • Lead projects to enhance Supply Chain performance and continuous improvement.
  • Support supply chain lead for internal and external audits regarding material and cost validations.
  • Sets objectives and guides others on execution/approach for achievement of developmental results.
  • Explains policies, practices, and procedures and may influence others.
  • Problems faced are difficult and require consideration of multiple variables and courage to make risk based decisions .
  • Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously.
