About The Position

Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company focused on delivering novel therapeutics for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), a serious liver disease that can progress to cirrhosis, liver failure, need for liver transplantation and premature mortality. Madrigal’s medication, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), is a once-daily, oral, liver-directed THR-β agonist designed to target key underlying causes of MASH. Rezdiffra is the first and only medication approved by both the FDA and European Commission for the treatment of MASH with moderate to advanced fibrosis (F2 to F3). An ongoing Phase 3 outcomes trial is evaluating Rezdiffra for the treatment of compensated MASH cirrhosis (F4c). Our success is driven by our people. The Senior Manager, Marketing & Commercial Excellence will be a critical member of the US Marketing and Commercial organization who will help build the future of Madrigal. This is truly a unique opportunity to make a difference for the betterment of patients living with MASH. This individual will ultimately be responsible for supporting and/or managing workstreams focused on operational systems, platforms, and processes to support Promotional Material Review (PRC), print operations, digital infrastructure, field communications, process improvement, budget, and more.

  • Limited travel – up to 25% of the time (including weekends as needed)
  • Required to be in office 3 days per week (Conshohocken, PA or Waltham, MA)
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7+ years of biopharmaceutical marketing and/or operations experience
  • Must have direct experience with promotional review committee operations (Veeva Vault/ PromoMats)
  • 2+ years of experience in project management

  • Experience in smaller company (or team) environments is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for day-to-day promotional review committee (PRC) operations such as scheduling and facilitating PRC meetings and effectiveness, reinforcing PRC processes, managing Veeva workflows (submissions, QC, approvals, expirations, reporting), performing quality control checks, conducting PRC onboarding/training, etc.
  • Support regulatory operations on promotional material submissions to FDA/OPDP (2253 and subpart H preclearance)
  • Involvement with other critical operational workstreams may include (but not limited to), print vendor and fulfillment, Veeva CRM platform, budget management and field collaboration
  • Support the implementation of existing and new systems, platforms, and processes to support cross-functional teams while proactively identifying opportunities to drive efficiencies and effectiveness as the business evolves
  • Help elevate, oversee, and continuously improve the commercial operations function
  • Effectively collaborate to ensure alignment and success with cross-functional partners including Medical, Regulatory, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, IT, Field Teams, Market Access, Agencies, Vendors, etc.
  • Manage multiple vendor and agency partners to drive critical workstreams forward, ensure appropriate resource allocation and timely delivery within financial constraints
