About The Position

Freeman is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to lead marketing initiatives for both the Freeman AV Production business and the Studio Blue AV brand. In this role, you will develop and execute targeted, integrated marketing and communication strategies that drive demand for both Freeman's AV Production capabilities as well as Studio Blue's AV brand - both of which service different segments of the industry. You will immerse yourself in our diverse business landscape, gaining deep insight into our customer segments, production services, and innovative technologies that bring events to life. As a key member of the marketing team, you'll report directly to the Director of Marketing and collaborate closely with sales, creative, and production teams to shape messaging, generate demand, and drive growth. This role is ideal for a hands-on, strategic marketer who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and has a passion for storytelling, production excellence, and elevating brand visibility. This position will support our Marketing team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our North Dallas office in Dallas, TX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a 4 year acredited college or universtiy with a concentation in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3+ years in B2B marketing, AV production, live events, or experiential marketing preferred.
  • Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and sales enablement.
  • Strong messaging and storytelling abilities with a portfolio demonstrating work in video, case studies, and campaign development.
  • Skilled project manager with the ability to balance multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with experience partnering cross-functionally across creative, sales, and production teams.
  • Proficient in content management systems, marketing automation, and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of annual marketing and communications plans for the Freeman AV Production business and Studio Blue business.
  • Partner with the Director of Marketing and line of business leaders to align marketing strategies with business objectives and growth goals.
  • Define key performance metrics, monitor results, and adjust strategies based on insights and performance data.
  • Develop compelling marketing assets that showcase Freeman's AV Production and Studio Blue expertise, including videos, case studies, web content, sales materials, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Oversee event video and photography captures-coordinating with clients, sales teams, and production crews to ensure deliverables align with brand, storytelling, and budget objectives.
  • Translate complex AV production concepts into engaging stories and visuals that resonate with clients and audiences.
  • Craft clear, differentiated messaging that highlights each brand's capabilities across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing and content teams to support campaigns that drive lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Support product and service launches by developing positioning, key messages, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Partner with creative, design, and social teams to ensure content alignment across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Work with the sales team to create customer presentations, pitch decks, and collateral tailored to audience needs.
  • Collaborate with internal communications and events teams to amplify AV Production and Studio Blue initiatives both internally and externally.
  • Stay informed on AV, event production, and experiential marketing trends to keep Freeman's messaging fresh and forward-looking.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to inform positioning and highlight Freeman's differentiators in the AV production space.
  • Share insights and recommendations to guide marketing strategy and product evolution.
  • Lead and manage special marketing initiatives such as product launches, brand campaigns, internal events, and milestone celebrations.
  • Support the development of video content and storytelling around innovation, customer success, and industry leadership.
