Overview The Sr. Manager, Manufacturing will be responsible for implementing manufacturing policies and programs that guide our plant in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree: Minimum six (6) years of experience in people management. Minimum eight (8) years of experience in field. OR Masters Degree: Minimum four (4) years of experience in people management. Minimum eight (8) years of experience in field.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and procedures
  • This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and development to the team and create an engaging environment with clear responsibilities, defined goals and objectives, and visibility to weekly progress reporting
  • In partnership with the Site Director, is responsible for the annual budget, including capital expenditures, and directs preparation of cost control reports, cost estimates, labor, and facilities requirements forecasts
  • Develop, recommend, and support lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement throughout the facility
  • Directs the manufacture of products at the lowest cost consistent with established specifications as to quality and quantity
  • Manage headcount for production workers within company policies to meet production plans, ramp-up and cost target
  • Manage the production department to ensure the efficient production of the highest-quality products at the lowest cost in meeting customer demands
