About The Position

A growing, well-established discrete manufacturing company in Cary, IL is hiring a Senior Manager, Quality to lead and modernize its Quality function. This is a high-impact leadership role with strong visibility, direct customer interaction, and the opportunity to strengthen systems, processes, and team structure.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related discipline
10+ years of Quality leadership experience in a discrete manufacturing environment (machining, fabrication, assembly preferred)
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (ASME experience is a plus)
Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, SPC
Strong leadership presence, customer communication skills, and ability to drive change
Experience with ERP and/or QMS systems; strong MS Office skills

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) and drive a culture of quality across the plant
Own key quality processes including audits, corrective actions, document control, calibration, and customer complaint resolution
Partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to reduce defects, improve process capability, and drive continuous improvement
Lead customer-facing quality activities, including documentation expectations and product quality issue resolution
Develop and mentor Quality team members; evaluate and strengthen team structure and performance
Support modernization efforts to improve efficiency and reduce manual/paper-based workflows
