In this position, the Senior Manager, IT SAP Finance business partner will work closely with global business stakeholders, audit & compliance, cross functional global IT support teams. This role leads: Execution of new technology with Finance to achieve business objectives by prioritizing initiatives, coordinating the deployment, and management of systems across the organization. Drives the implementation of enterprise systems and applications for Finance in support of embecta operations that creates competitive advantage, enhances customer experience, improves service quality, supports business development and improves cost effectiveness. Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of projects, balance multiple competing priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision. Ensures compliance with SAP IT general controls for finance & delivers audit artifacts. This role would sit hybrid two days a week in our Parsippany, NJ office or remote for the right candidate SAP S/4 HANA Finance Accountable for process improvements, design & implementation for multiple regions i.e. North America, EMEA, LATAM, ASIA & Greater China (must have). Hands-on functional / technical knowledge to support FI-GL, AR, AP, AA, PS, Banking (SAP Multi Bank Connectivity), Advanced Treasury & Group reporting (consolidation). Thorough understanding of Intercompany billing, pricing, reconciliation, ICMR & profit eliminations process. Supports month/ quarter / year end close process and global consolidations. Thorough understanding of Intercompany billing, pricing, reconciliation, ICMR & profit eliminations process. Willing to cross train in e-invoicing & statutory reporting processes in SAP DRC.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of verifiable techno-functional experience in SAP S/4 HANA Finance.
  • Ability to perform fit/gap analysis and write functional specs for RICEFW objects.
  • Must-have 2 full lifecycle verifiable experiences as a lead during SAP implementation in a medical device / life sciences or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of business processes i.e., record to report, plan to forecast, quote to cash, source to pay, plan to deliver etc.
  • Experience with Blackline, OCR solutions & other downstream applications Integration of Direct / Indirect taxes, treasury, data consolidation process for group reporting, and integration of OneSource Tax with Ariba & S/4 processes.
  • Experience working with third-party AMS teams & SAP CoE’s.
  • Understanding of SDLC, Validation processes and implementation methodologies.

Nice To Haves

  • Big 4/Tier 1 SAP IT consulting & life sciences / manufacturing industry knowledge is a plus with hands-on configuration knowledge as “must have”.
  • Training / certification in SAP S/4 HANA, Six Sigma is highly desirable.
  • MBA preferred.
