About The Position

The Sr Manager - Infrastructure Engineering Senior Infrastructure Engineering Manager role provides vision and leadership for the creation and execution of technology strategies aligned with business requirements and priorities. This role will direct the planning, engineering, implementation, and support of enterprise networks and architecture of solutions which requires in depth technical expertise including, but not limited to the network, voice, mobile, and virtual and physical endpoint domains. Hands on manager leading team of network engineers, leads the effort to establish operational/architectural standards, and directs activities associated with project adherence to those standards. Monitors compliance with the organization's architecture standards among employees, contractors, and third parties. Provides advice and consulting to senior management and the business areas in the development and implementation of technology solutions. Acts as the infrastructure technology expert across the network and security domains and sets technology direction and plans. Directs the research and development activities required to evaluate, select, acquire and implement technology systems and solutions. Directs operational, support relationships and outcomes with key outsourcing service providers. Leads the effort to establish operational processes for systems patching, updates, and upgrades. Partners with the Director of Systems & Database engineering to drive and own the incident management and recovery process. Ensures key ITIL based metrics are in place to measure and enforce service delivery. Designs, implements, and maintains an effective disaster recovery program and the associated technologies. Provides oversight of the disaster recovery and business continuity program. Leads the annual disaster recovery testing program. Selects and manages appropriate 3rd party providers for key infrastructure services, support, and technology implementations. Directs the management and renewal of maintenance contracts and services required to deliver daily infrastructure services to the company. Owns financial planning and analysis for expense and project budgets. Manages capital and expenses budget according to plan. Hires and manages a highly effective team. Leads and coaches, employees, contractors, and consultants with respect to technology direction, engineering, architecture, and support of the infrastructure. Responsibilities
